Maca is a root that belongs to the same family as cabbage, broccoli, and radish. It contains a mammoth number of benefits and a lot of them contribute to hormonal fluctuations and even menopause. Studies have shown that maca help in alleviating common symptoms that are associated with menopause like hot flashes, sleeplessness, and anxiety. Other studies have also shown it has positive effects on bone health which is affected during menopause directly or indirectly.




Maca supports hormones in the body and therefore has a large spectrum of benefits during menopause. Hormonal fluctuations can affect the heart, bone health, metabolism, blood pressure, and many other bodily functions.

This power pact smoothie contains the superfoods maca and chia seeds along with manuka honey


Ingredients


Instructions

  • Put all the ingredients into the blender, except Kiva Organic Chia Seeds, you can also use frozen mango if you like your smoothie thick.

  • Finely grate ginger into it.

  • Blend it into a thick delicious smoothie, keep it lumpy if you like it that way.

  • Pour and top it with chia seeds.

  • Enjoy the delicious Maca Menopause Smoothie!
